This is a restaurant that just opened in
Riverton. If you like good food, don't miss this one. It is a great addition
to our area. It is called Tony's Seafood Cafe, but it is not limited to
seafood. At our first visit we had a cup of their seafood bisque (it was terrific), followed by a salad with the house dressing of oil and balsamic vinegar. The main dish was the special of the night, Norwegian Salmon with Scallops and Shrimp in a light cream sauce. It was the best salmon dinner that I can remember having. The waitresses are friendly and efficient and we did not feel rushed. We arrived on a Saturday about 5:30 PM and were seated promptly, but by 6 the restaurant was filled. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Excellent Italian food in ample quantities and priced right. Bring your own wine. Reservations only for groups of more than ten. There is a back room for parties. Located in the strip mall behind the Medport Diner. Tell Sal the HouseJeanie sent you. |

Run by the same family as the Tarantella Restaurant. Sal's son runs this one. We stopped by here for the first time (3-29-02) at the recommendation of one of our web site readers. They are correct it is great. While we were there Sal stopped by to see his son and tried to put us on the spot by asking us which one was better Tarantella or Femmina. To be honest they are both great. |
